NW MediaArts Autumn 2007 Fantastic Fiction Workshops

NW MediaArts will host a series of speculative fiction workshops this fall at Seattle's Richard Hugo House.

This workshop series features one-day lectures by critically acclaimed authors from around the country. Each session will focus on writing tools aimed at helping other authors improve their craft.

Each author will teach a one-day, Sunday workshop and give a reading and book signing for the general public the following day, Monday, at 7:00 p.m. Workshops include discussion, in-class writing exercises and critiquing.

Authors scheduled for the autumn series include:

Charles de Lint, September 16, 2007: "Mythic Fiction"

John Crowley, October 11, 2007: "It's about Time"

John Kessel, November 18, 2007: "Slipping into the Strange"
