British Fantasy Awards Announced at Fantasycon 2007Posted Monday, September 24, 2007
The British Fantasy Society announced the winners of the British Fantasy Awards for 2007. The presentations were made at Fantasycon 2007 in Nottingham September 23rd.
The August Derleth Fantasy Award for best novel went to Tim Lebbon's DUSK. Mark Chadbourn won the best short fiction category for his "Whisper Lane." Additional awards presented included: The Sydney J. Bounds Best Newcomer Award: Joe Hill Best Non-Fiction: Mark Morris, for CINEMA MACABRE Best Artist: Vincent Chong Best Small Press: PS Publishing Best Collection: Neil Gaiman, for FRAGILE THINGS Best Anthology: Gary Couzens, for EXTENDED PLAY: THE ELASTIC BOOK OF MUSIC Best Novella: Paul Finch, for KID The Karl Edward Wagner Award: Ellen Datlow
